Présidence de l'Etat d'Israël - Liban : Le Président Mr. Moshe Katsav a le soutien des organisations juives des Etats-Unis
The President of Israel, Mr. Moshe Katsav, met yesterday with a solidarity mission of the Conference of Presidents of the 52 major Jewish organizations in the U.S.A.
The delegation came to Israel to visit the north and to express solidarity with the people in Israel.
The President of Israel thanked them for their visit which symbolizes the unity of the Jewish people and Diaspora Jewry´s support of Israel in its just fight for the security of its borders and citizens.
The President added that the State of Israel does not intend to continue with the situation in which the Hizbullah is endangering the security of the citizens in the north.
The President said that the people are standing behind the government and the IDF and he encouraged the people of Israel to continue to remain steadfast in the fight for the peace and security of the citizens of Israel.
The President of the Conference of Presidents, Mr. Harold Tanner, the Director of the organization, Mr. Malcolm Hoenlein, the Chairman of the Anti-Defamation League, Mr. Abe Foxman and leaders of Jewish organizations, orthodox, conservative and reform participated in the meeting.
